The Entertainment Master Plan evaluates the area of Macau referred to as the Nape District. Located adjacent to the historic core of the city, this area was reclaimed land devoid of architectural character or similar attractions, and consequently insulated the historic core from expanding to the waterfront district of the Nape.
The team was engaged to reprogram this area and create a framework for entertainment venues that could knit together the historic core and the Nape District.
After extensive analysis of the existing conditions, the team prepared a framework diagram that utilized transportation systems as entertainment venues. These transportation systems consisted of a tram, gondola and trolley. The transportation venues also allowed us to connect the Nape District to the historic core, making it fun to visit this area.
